On Sunday, September 18th, the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) will host the 2022 Circle of Excellence awards from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Canyons Village Forum. The goal of the Circle of Excellence event is to recognize young athletes for their achievements on snow, ice and sleds as well as in the community. We will honor athletes who train with one of YSA’s seven-member clubs and students who participate in our Get Out & Play or ACTiV8 afterschool programs for achievement and leadership in sport. Awards will be given for the following categories: All-Star, Champion, Leadership, Sam Jackenthal Showstopper of the Year, Breakthrough Performance of the Year, Spirit of Service, Hall of Fame, Get Out & Play Core Values and ACTiV8 Awards. Athletes are nominated by their teams for these awards.
There will be a concert from 4 pm to 5pm with the awards ceremony beginning at 5pm.
Directions: The Canyons Village Forum is the grassy area at the base of Canyons Village by the Umbrella Bar. Seating will be picnic style, please bring your low-backed concert chairs or blankets.
Parking: Parking is available in the upper Preferred Parking lots as the Cabriolet will not be operating. These lots are near the Silverado and West Gate Lodges and do require some walking. For those requiring ADA access, please drop off at the Sun Dial Lodge circle.
Food: You are welcome to bring their own picnic dinner and/or snacks. We encourage compostable, recyclable, or reusable materials.
