Volunteer for Get Out & Play! VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
This program would not be such a success without the countless parent volunteers who step up each week to help out. Parents who sign their children up are not expected to volunteer, but are asked to consider helping out with at least 1 day during the program.
Gear Up (PCMR & Canyons) 12:30 – 1:00
Parents can come to the school and assist their child, as well as other children with getting geared up, sun screened, armbands on, lined up and loaded on the buses.
Bus Chaperones (PCMR & Canyons) 12:15 – 4:45
Parents can volunteer to help load students on the buses, load and unload gear, and assist with grouping students at the resort. Once students are with their instructors, parent chaperones are free to use their free afternoon lift ticket to go ski. They need to be back to the bottom of the mountain by 3:45 to help students load buses.
UOP & White Pine Programs 12:30 – 4:00
These programs have smaller groups of kids going from school, so only 1 or 2 parents are needed for the afternoon. Parents will assist kids with getting geared up, loaded on bus, unloaded at venue, grouped with instructors, and then loaded back on bus at end of lessons.
